America's abandonment of Israel and the coming results
America has been benefiting from the blessings God has poured out on her not because this nation is somehow better than other nations but solely because America has been a staunch supporter and defender of the nation of Israel, God's chosen people.
Genesis 12:3 God said, "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you", referring to the offspring of Abraham who would become the Jewish peoples.
The curses of that scripture are just as sure as the blessings!
A look back at the timing of the terrorist attacks against America is unmistakable, in 1979 Jimmy Carter started the attempts by the American Administration to force Israel to give up land for peace, it is also the same year that Iranian terrorists took our embassy staff in Tehran hostage.
A quick Google search of terrorist attacks against America clearly shows the steady increase of these incidents is in direct correlation to the efforts by the past 6 U.S. Administrations to divide the nation of Israel. God meant what He said and He will bring it to pass.
America was founded on the teachings of the Bible, it was founded by men and women who wanted God to be an active part of their government and their society.
It has only taken Satan 50 years to influence the leaders of this nation to abandon the faith that made us strong, to undermine the beliefs and values that made us great and the sap the strength and personal responsibility that made us free.
We are facing a growing crisis in this country that is being perpetrated on every citizen by a government that is out of control and out of options other than to pump trillions of dollars we don't have into a problem no one has the answer to.
When God is in charge of a nation, a people, a society there is mercy and grace, unmerited favor and blessings. When a nation turns its back on God, as America has done, there is a futility and loss of focus that human minds can not see through.
Haggai 1:6-9
You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.”
This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the Lord.
"You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the Lord Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.
Because America and its society has become more interested in satisfying itself than in honoring the God who gave us His blessings we will see the same results every other nation throughout the history of the world has seen.
There is hope though!
2 Chronicles. 7:14
" if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. "
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The European Union (EU) has resorted to making vague threats against Israel’s Prime Minister-designate, Binyamin Netanyahu, to pressure him to support the “the two-state solution,” which calls for the creation of an Arab state of Palestine inside the current borders of the Jewish State.
EU members spoke on the subject after a weekend session of EU foreign ministers that was held at the Hluboka castle in the Czech Republic – which is the EU’s current rotating president.
Czech Foreign Minister Karel Swarzenberg was asked whether a failure to reach a two-state agreement between Israel and the PA would hurt the EU’s relations with Israel, and answered: “The relations would certainly become problematic. We shall discuss the repercussions of this matter in one of our next meetings,” he said.
German Foreign Minister Franz-Walter Steinmeier said that “we Europeans insist that, regardless of the governments on both sides, the two-state solution must top the agenda.”
Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn said that the upgrading of trade relations between the EU and Israel depends on the conclusion of a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Some of the EU foreign ministers seem to be drawing encouragement from U.S. President Barack Obama’s statements on the subject this week. Obama's commitment to the Middle East “peace process” early in his term means "there is real hope for progress in the region," Swarzenberg said.
This is the second time in less than a month that the EU has threatened Israel with dire consequences if it does not agree to the “two-state” solution. EU foreign policy chiefJavier Solana warned that the EU would “reevaluate its ties with Israel” if the new government does not continue down the road to the creation of a state of Palestine.
"Let me say very clearly that the way the European Union will relate to an Israel government that is not committed to a two-state solution will be very, very different," he said earlier this month. *****************************************************************
“Thus says the LORD 'Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it'”(Zechariah 12:2,3)
Israel is currently facing a threat to its very existence but the world will see God's powerful hand.
Israel's most immediate threat may be from Iran but in reality its biggest threat is complacency from those who should be supporting her and praying for the peace of Israel.
Nations are trying to placate a madman with offers and threats, both of which are impotent and the enemy knows it. Could it be that conciliatory maneuverings will ensure the stability and security in the region? This only encourages despots and madmen who use it to further their own plans - remember Chamberlain and Hitler?
God promised Abraham that He would bless those who bless Israel and He would curse those who curse Israel.
America has prospered under God's promise since we have in the past been Israel's biggest supporter. Things started changing for America however in 1979 with the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty.
Jimmy Carter, a self proclaimed follower of Christ, was trying to broker a land for peace deal between Israel and Egypt. Perhaps he should have studied God's word first;
""Joel 3:2 I will gather the armies of the world into the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for harming my people, for scattering my inheritance among the nations, and for dividing up my land. "
Coincidental 1979 was the beginning of terrorist attacks on America. Coincidence?
America is a land that promotes pornography around the world, embraces and encourages abortion, glamorizes perversion and every kind of filth imaginable but continues to expect God's blessings.
God is not mocked and what He said would happen will happen. What did Sodom and Gomorrah do that America has not done more of.
There may or may not be enough Christians left in America who care more about following the Lord than they do in filling their lives with the enticements of this world or enough pastors who care more about being servants of the Lord than they do about being "served" and living like the sons of Eli who took for themselves the best that came into the House of God.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Seek the Lord while He can be found and pray for the peace of Israel.
I believe that the Rapture could occur and the majority of the world would not even know.
Imagine the following situation and see if you see how this might happen.
What if there was a planned, coordinated, simultaneous event or set of events that occurred worldwide and caused so much destruction and chaos that the sudden disappearance of millions of people would be easily overlooked or assumed to be a result of that chaos.
What if terrorists were to launch a worldwide attack on a preplanned date against the infrastructure of hundreds of large metropolitan areas around the world. The resulting chaos, looting, killing, rioting, racial, ethnic and religious fighting would overwhelm efforts of those governments and throw so much of this world into total confusion that the disappearance of God's "faithful" would go largely unnoticed. Just look at the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans to get an idea of how people behave in times of chaos.
The Iranian President, Ahmadinejad, has recently stated that he believes "Allah" has called for him to create the worldwide chaos necessary to usher in the "Mahdi", the Islamic messiah, who will lead the Islamic fundamentalists in a worldwide Jihad to kill all non-believers.
Jesus Christ Is coming back for His own, are you doing all you can to tell those whom God places in your path about His Love and Salvation? The time to do so is now before all "hell" breaks loose and you have wasted "their" opportunity.
Jesus commanded His followers to watch and be ready - what excuse will we have if He comes and catches us sleeping? God knew exactly what was going to happen and gave us specific signs and events that would occur and even the time frame they would happen in, namely, the generation that saw Israel become a nation again would not pass away until all things were fulfilled. That happened in 1948 - how long can someone live? No matter how you look at it we have a finite period of time in which the following things would have had to happen.
1. Israel become a nation - 1948
2. That generation would not pass away - 80 to 100 years?
3. The Revived Roman Empire - the "beast" - The European Union
4. A master diplomat would arise out of the "beast" - The High representative of the EU
5. The number of the "beast" would be the number of a man - in 1998 the EU published Article 666 creating the position of the High Representative of the EU. In 2000 Recommendation 666 gave the High Representative full emergency powers. ( If the EU is the "beast" and its own documents created the position for the "man" the antichrist, and those documents were both numbered by the EU 666 then it seems that that prophecy has been fulfilled.
6. That the antichrist would make a covenant with many for 7 years and in the middle of the 7 years the Jews would not be able to sacrifice unblemished animals. - Jan. 1, 2007 starts the 7 year European Neighborhood Policy drafted by the High Representative of the EU. There is also a mid-term review of the treaty that will occur in 2010.
Also in 2010 the Animal Welfare study the EU started this year will come into effect whereby the EU will require that all animals must be rendered unconscious prior to killing by either a gunshot or by electrical shock - both of which would render the Jewish sacrifice unacceptable to God. Since Israel signed onto the European Neighborhood Policy it could be required to abide by the EU's laws if the EU. Especially if the only way Israel felt it could ensure its peace was to enter into a covenent with the EU for protection.
7. That the antichrist would have sufficient military power to wage war and kill so many people - The EU has a document called "Headline Goal 2010" which details how the EU will have an army of the combined military might of all 25 nations currently a member of the EU as well as any subsequent members. Also on June 18, 2006 all 25 nations of the EU agreed, in spite of there being no EU constitution, to place all Police, Civil and Military powers under the control of the High Representative.
8. That there would be a great falling away from the true faith in Jesus Christ - the 75th Episcopal convention this year proclaimed that homosexuality was from God and they refused to even consider a resolution that would have stated that Jesus Christ was the only name by which one may be saved.
I believe we are right at the moment God planned out before the foundation of the world for Christ's return - don't go on your feelings because in Noah's day they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage right up to the time Noah entered the ark. God is not going to give you another sign just to wake you up.
